From Our Kitchen
After our first Winter CSA, we are busy in the kitchen creating batches of jams with berries that were “put up” last season. Very soon, fresh berries will be available again! Look for Harlow Farm frozen products including vegetables, pesto, mole and chicken broth at the farm stand.

Now a year round environmentally conscious organic farm!
Despite the very difficult end to last season, Winter at the farm turned out to be very rewarding in many ways. We were awarded several requests for funding assistance by state and federal agencies and private non-profit organizations, including; VT State Agricultural Dept., USDA, and the ESNID Foundation with these matching fund grants, we are able to; achieve GAP Food Safety Certification, a federal mandate, provide organic carrot coins and peeled and cut potatoes to Windham County area schools and medical institutions, and finally to construct an improved food storage facility. We are so grateful for the financial assistance and new relationships we forged and we’re looking forward to our new projects!
With some research and unbridled enthusiasm, we added a new greenhouse to the farm. Look for greens all year round!
Field to Table Suppers, on the farm, the first is Saturday, 7/21/12. Look for more information at the farm stand, or contact us for more details.
Find Harlow Farm, off the farm, at 2 local Farmers Markets beginning in May:
- Bellows Falls, VT Friday evenings, 4-7 PM at the Waypoint Center
- Walpole, NH, Friday evenings, 4-6 PM at the Walpole Town Green
