Production Crew [ Taking applications on rolling basis ]
Job Details and Responsibilities: The Production crew is the central team on Harlow Farm. The crew participates in all activities for planting, maintenance, and harvesting of diversified ground crops. The Production Crew's primary activities through the 2019 growing season include:
- Greenhouse planting and transplanting seedlings,
- Washing, culling, and prepping produce for storage and distribution in our packing house.
- Loading and unloading trucks and may involve the operation of some farm machinery.
Job Schedule: Full-time - up to 35 hrs. Applications are being reviewed now.
Skills and Qualifications: The role requires you to work quickly and efficiently. Must be willing to work in varied weather. Field work until mid-December or when snow prevents outside work. Then work shifts to the barn, which will be 50-60 degrees. Work is physically demanding, requiring workers to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for long periods of time. Workers must have ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently. Teamwork experience and the ability to be a team player are a must.
Wages & compensation: $13.25/hour
